Steven J. Schrader

Steven J. Schrader was born and raised in Western New York. Growing up in Elma, Steve attended Canisius College in Buffalo, where he had the distinction of serving as the President of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and the President of Phi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. Steve graduated summa cum laude from Canisius’ All College Honors Program in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in Classics and Law & Public Policy.

Steve attended law school the Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, where he worked as a Lead Articles Editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice, a member of the school’s Mock Trial team, and a Student Advocate in the Black Lung Advanced Administrative Litigation Clinic where he assisted coal miners and their families in their pursuit of federal black lung benefits. Steve graduated from W&L in 2015 with his Juris Doctor.

Before joining Nash Connors in 2026, Steve practiced at several local firms where he gained experience prosecuting and defending personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, injuries on property, and medical malpractice claims. Steve also has experience as an insurance claims adjuster, allowing him to analyze and evaluate personal injury claims from multiple different perspectives.

At Nash Connors, Steve focuses his practice on handling all types of personal injury claims through all stages of litigation. He strives to provide his clients with timely, thorough, and thoughtful legal advice while always listening to and prioritizing the client’s concerns.

Steve is admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. In his spare time, Mr. Schrader is active with the Western New York chapter of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), supports Brentford F.C., and enjoys attending live music events at venues throughout Western New York.
