Andrew Kowalewski

Andrew J. Kowalewski is a Western New York native. After graduating from St. Francis High School, he attended Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, where he was a member of the Canisius College Honors Program and Phi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, and graduated cum laude with degrees in Political Science and European Studies. Mr. Kowalewski then attended Law School at the University at Buffalo where he was a Publications Editor at the Buffalo Law Review, a member of the Jessup Moot Court Board, and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Prior to joining Nash Connors in 2018, Mr. Kowalewski practiced at firms where he gained experience defending personal injury claims involving motor vehicle accidents, trucking companies and commercial carriers, injury on property, and claims against municipalities. Mr. Kowalewski also gained experience as part of a rapid response team to catastrophic motor vehicle accidents to provide legal and investigative services.

Since joining Nash Connors, Mr. Kowalewski has handled personal injury claims at all litigation and appellate stages. He prides himself on providing thoughtful advocacy for his clients and on being responsive to client concerns.

Mr. Kowalewski is on the Board of Directors of the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of the Western New York, and a member of the Buffalo Claims Association and Western New York Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Kowalewski is admitted to the New York State Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of New York and Northern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Mr. Kowalewski is also the Treasurer of the Buffalo Groundhog Day Society, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation with the mission to raise money for various animal shelters throughout Western New York. In his spare time, Mr. Kowalewski is active in the Polish community and enjoys attending various festivals and outdoor events in Western New York.
